Meeting called to order by John Heffernan. Maureen announced that she is finishing her term as member of the Council.

Discussion centered around new distribution of Council jobs: John will remain Co Chair, with Lynne Leavitt; Co-Publicity: Pat Salamon and Kit Wilson; Pat will contact newspapers and printed material while Kit will do posters, sandwich board and cards. Maureen will help Pat with computer setup.
The Grant Cycle is one of our major jobs. There are no more PASS grants; they will now become regular grant applications. Deadline is Oct. 15th.
We must be aware of lead time for performances, publicity and advance planning. We have been inundated with performance and workshop activities all summer.
Joel Shick is the next activity. Aug 7 is a Song Writing Workshop; Aug 14 his musicians will perform written songs
Remaining public events for this grant cycle are: Mushroom talk and walk; Open Studio in December (Wendy)
Report on past weekend concert by Liz Queller and family: Attendance about 35, which John felt was a good number considering they had also performed in many surrounding communities this summer.
Maureeen explained how to contact Mass Cultural Council website with our password.
